Why most Manali trips go by Volvo
The Delhi–Manali route has excellent overnight Volvo connectivity, and that's why the majority of packages — including our own Manali by Volvo package — are built around it. You board in Delhi in the evening, sleep through the journey in a reclining AC coach, and wake up in the hills. It keeps the trip affordable and saves a hotel night. For couples and groups of friends watching the budget, it's usually the smart choice.
When a private car is worth it
A private car earns its higher price when you're travelling with young kids or elderly parents, when you want to stop for photos at Kullu, Pandoh Dam or the roadside dhabas, or when your plan includes detours like Naggar or Solang at your own pace. What about time?
Both take roughly 12–14 hours Delhi to Manali depending on traffic and road conditions. The Volvo does it overnight so it doesn't "cost" you a day; a car by day lets you see the scenery but uses daylight hours. Many travellers go up by Volvo and keep a local car in Manali for sightseeing — the best of both.
