Arrive at Cochin and drive up to the hill station of Munnar (about 4 hours), stopping at the Cheeyappara waterfalls and spice plantations en route. Overnight in Munnar.
Munnar Sightseeing
Explore the tea estates and museum, Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake and the rolling Rose Gardens. Optional visit to Eravikulam National Park. Overnight in Munnar.
Munnar → Thekkady
Drive to Thekkady, home of the Periyar wildlife sanctuary. Enjoy a spice-garden walk, an optional boat ride on Periyar lake, and a Kathakali or Kalaripayattu show. Overnight in Thekkady.
Thekkady → Alleppey Houseboat

Is the houseboat private?
Yes — you get your own houseboat with bedroom(s), a living deck, a cook and a crew. Meals are prepared fresh on board. It's the highlight of the trip.
Is Kerala good for a honeymoon?
